Fashion Show and Auction!

We are delighted to announce that we are taking part in a Fashion Show and Auction, to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Childline. It is taking place at Anglia Ruskin University on March 7th at 7pm. Cuckoo and Le Reve lingerie are putting on catwalk shows and Celebrity Auctioneer, Will Axon, will be in action for a Fashion and Luxury Prize Auction. In addition the Cambridge School of Art students are hosting a Fashion Show and the Head of Childline- Sue Minto will be the Guest Speaker.
It looks set to be a great evening and we'd love our Cuckoo customers to support this excellent charity event.
Tickets are available in Cuckoo, Le Reve or from the Mumford Theatre and cost £20 (includes welcome drink and goodie bag).

Kate Hamilton - Hunter designs this beautiful jewellery in her studio on the North Welsh coast.

Kate's first jewellery designs were fashioned from old patterned tins. Her collections are now created from a magpie selection of metals, which include: Silver, Aluminium and Brass, along with her treasured biscuit, sweet and coffee tins.

All the jewellery is finished to a very high standard, using sterling silver and Swarovski crystals and pearls.

We will be stocking this jewellery in both our shops in St Mary's Passage and Burwas Manor.

The kids may have only just broken up for summer holidays, but we're already planning ahead for them going back to school in September.

Cupcake Carnival Time!

Don't miss the Cupcake Carnival at Burwash Manor, the home of Cuckoo on 29th August when Michelle and Kate will be rolling up their sleeves and working alongside the rest of the shops to offer you a truly scrumptious sugar fix!

Set within the courtyard at Burwash, just a stones throw away from Cuckoo and Cuckoo Kids, will be a host of family-themed entertainment. There will be storytelling, face painting, carnival music and old-fashioned games such as 'hook a duck'.

There will also be, of course, the chance to watch cupcake icing demonstrations and plenty of opportunities to eat them. And as if that's not enough, there will a hog roast too.

The carnival will run from 11am - 4pm.

Hmmm, delicious!
